PRE-KINDERGARTEN CLASSES

4 to 5 Year-Old Children

Melissa’s Private Preschool’s 4 to 5 Year-Old Pre-Kindergarten Curriculums utilize a comprehensive reading and language arts program. The curriculums focus on reading, handwriting, and auditory and oral language skills. Students work through a set of 26 letter books learning to identify and write each letter, identify the sound each letter makes and blend those sounds together to form words. Supplemental worksheets, exercises and projects emphasize each letter giving children practice and experience while developing essential reading and language skills.

Pre-K Morning Class - 2 days per week

The Pre-K Morning Class is designed for children who will just beginning how to learn how to write their numbers, letters and names by themselves. Children will be expected to sit at their desk for 15-20 minutes at a time while receiving instructions and completing their curriculum worksheets.

Age: Must be 4-years old by September 1, 2010

Cost: $95.00 per month

Days: Tuesday & Thursday

Time: 9:00 A.M. - 11:00 A.M.

Maximum Class Size: 8 Students

Current Student/Teacher Ratio: 8:1

Pre-K Afternoon Class - 4 days per week

The Pre-K Afternoon Class has double the work load of the Pre-K Morning Class and in addition to the regular curriculum children will also learn about time, money and measurement. Children will be expected to sit at their desk for 15-20 minutes at a time while receiving instructions and completing their curriculum worksheets.

Age: Must be 4-years old by September 1, 2010

Cost: $150.00 per month

Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday

Time: 1:00 P.M. - 3:00 P.M.

Maximum Class Size: 8 Students

Current Student/Teacher Ratio: 8:1

Hands on, manipulative activities are the foundation of the advanced math program. Students reinforce number recognition and counting, as well as developing essential skills in measuring, beginning geometry, and concepts of time and money.

To be considered for enrollment you must first pre-register your child. After you have pre-registered you will receive an enrollment packet and an appointment to complete the student registration process.  All student registrations are accepted by appointment only.
